Description
Genumedi PSS is a knee support for reliable guidance and stabilisation of the knee joint and to relieve tension on the patellar ligament (tendon) insertion. The compressive knit improves proprioception and sensorimotor function of the knee. The tendon pad with silicone dot coating stimulates the patellar ligament.

Goal setting
Open the two belt straps.
Hold the support with the thumb on the inside at the top end of the side stabilisation rods.
Pull the support over the knee in such a way that the two silicon pads cover the centre of the kneecap without applying any pressure. Make sure when positioning the support that the smaller pad (tendon pad) is located below the kneecap over the patellar tendon.
Now close the front belt strap with your leg slightly bent. Check when doing so that this strap runs over the small pad.
Then close the rear belt strap.
The belt may be cut to the individually required length. To this end, open the Velcro fasteners at the end of the belt and shorten it accordingly.
Then check the support's position again.
To remove it, first open the two belt straps. Then reach into the support from the bottom end and pull downwards.
Please take care that trained staff instruct you when putting on the support for the first time.
